Shannon caught three touchdown passes, including the game winner, as Butler rallied from a second-half deficit to post a 39-35 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday. He finished the night with 14 catches for 170 yards, both top marks among PFL receivers in Week 8. Shannon caught a Matt Lancaster pass for the game’s first touchdown. He reappeared in the fourth quarter, catching five passes for 79 yards in the frame, including from 11 and 17 yards out for touchdowns.

  • Isaac Scott, Campbell
    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Isaac Scott, Campbell

Sophomore (RS) | Defensive Lineman | Columbia, S.C.

Scott recorded three sacks to help Campbell remain close, but its fourth quarter charge fell short in a 28-21 loss to Davidson, Saturday. He finished the game with eight tackles (four solo), 3½ tackles for loss, a fumble forced and a fumble recovered while also receiving credit for a quarterback hurry. Scott personally ended a pair of Davidson drives. He recorded back-to-back sacks, the second forcing a fumble which he recovered to end a drive in the second quarter. Scott’s third sack stalled a Davidson drive late in the fourth quarter and forced a punt. He set Campbell records for tackles for loss and sacks in a game.
